CSM Bucharest defeated the Estonian team Viljandi HC on Saturday, 36-24 (20-9), in the second leg of the first round of the European Cup. Minaur Baia Mare and Potaissa Turda will enter directly into the second round.

The main scorers for CSM Bucharest were Voica 9 goals, Mihalcea 7, Chiratcu 6.

In the round, CSM won with a score of 35-24 and with 71-48 overall they qualify for the second round, where they will face Runar Sandefjord (Norway).

In the second round of the European Cup, Minaur Baia Mare and Potaissa Turda were directly assigned. Minaur will meet Turkish side Beykoz Bld SK at home on October 19-20, and the return leg away from home a week later.

In turn, Potaissa Turda will debut away from home against GRK Ohrid (North Macedonia) and the second leg at home.
